Hey is 3!

My big boy turned three on Saturday and we celebrated with a party at the Sonic yesterday. I am so glad that his friends came and played with him. He was so excited about opening presents and kept asking D and I, "Is this for me?" and "I can keep it?" You would think the poor boy gets no gifts or toys!
Heyward is my heart and I cannot believe how sweet he is. He told me this morning on the way to carry him to stay with Meme that he would miss me but he really wanted to play with Meme and Papa. The day he was born I never thought I could love something or someone so much. Today I am in awe, that yes, I do love him more than the day he was born. I wish my baby boy lots of happiness, health and progress this next year of his life!

Ocean Isle Vacation

Last week we were at the Beach with Becee, Bop and some friends. We had a great time, lots of new experiences, great food and made lots of memories! Heyward went fishing for the first time and did great! He is a true seaman! He also had a little incident with daddy's razor so Becee got him his very own shaving kit so he doesn't have to play with daddy's or slice his lip again. My favorite part was sitting on the beach and eating all the fresh seafood.

Heyward learned how to use a camera as well! Although instead of the photographer centering the subjects, the subjects had to center themselves with the camera!!!

Hey's new shaving kit!

Digging to China!

We had a great time! I am so sad that summer is coming to an end. It is truly my favorite season of the year!

Amber and D sitting in a tree...

Someone sent me this picture that I am almost positive is from 1997, around the time D and I started dating. If we only knew then what we know now.............

Fishing with Hey

D and I took Heyward fishing on Sunday. It was so much fun! We caught four fish, but put them back so they can grow bigger and we will catch them again then. D knew of a special spot and it was full of fish! We are so excited about vacation next week and catching some really big fish!
