Laurie Beth's first dance recital

Laurie Beth had her very first dance recital this past May.  If you know Laurie Beth, you know what an eccentric dancer she is.  We are not sure where she got her personality from, since D and I are for the most part quiet and reserved, but she is over flowing with confidence and boldness.  I love her for that and wish I could be more outgoing like she is.  Her personality is tough to deal with at times, but I am told it will be a positive attribute later in life!  I am so proud of her and all of her dance buddies for doing a great job.
"Baby Take A Bow"

On the way in with proud big brother Heyward (who was also excited to see his other "girl" friends dance)

This is LB with her friend Jamie

She not only danced but sang the whole song!

get it girl!

Lb with Jamie and sweet Eliza, they had a great time

Such a sweet dance, I am going to miss her being so little!
Thanks to our families for coming!

Life has been very good lately!  I am so grateful for all the wonderful things we are able to do with our children.  They are certainly growing up too quickly.  This month we are preparing for Heyward's graduation from 5K.  It has been amazing to watch him grow, mature and learn so many things.  He is so smart and loving.  I am beyond proud of him!  Laurie Beth will be in her first dance recital the end of May as well.  She is meant to be a superstar!  She is so animated and full of life.  It makes me smile every time I look into her eyes and see them dance with happiness!

Happy Spring to everyone!

School's out for Summer!!!

Last day of school water party!  I am not sure if I am ready for 5k, but Hey is!  Prayers please.  Hey stood beside me recently and he is growing so fast, if this keeps up he will be taller than me in just a few years.

Since school got out we decided to go somewhere and do something fun till the pool opened.  Our first trip was to the zoo in Columbia.  We had so much fun.  Heyward, who has been to several zoos and aquariums, told Laurie Beth all about each animal as if he were the keeper.
Daddy has fished and I must say I am very happy he kept on his sunscreen, long sleeve, fishing shirt!  The boys won some prize money on the last tournament!

Kids getting a lesson on boating from Uncle Ed

This confirmed my suspision that she might be an actress.  She never saw Titantic, but she knew this move would get titantic reviews!

Also, comedic and dramatic on the putt, putt course

Hey is not as much the actor, more so the down to earth country boy!  He loves all things fish or any sport!

Another trip we did was to Discovery Place in Charlotte with friends from Hartsville!

I highly recommend Discovery Place!
